I just want to say that this is all absolutely incredible and wonderful, but I've always wondered what the royal jellies are. I guess that would be my question: what are the jellies? Thank you for the amazing work!
Aww thank you!! The jellies are commemorative deserts that were prepared by the council for a special annual anointing ceremony. Every anointing ceremony has its own special desert theme, but the one of the most importance to my story is the jelly. You can tell who prepared the desert by looking at the toppings—not everyone on the council is a baker, but there is more than one mother who cooked these!
