1. Are you even Black? Why are you addressing me in this manner if you’re not Black?

2. You and your friends don’t post majority original content (scans DO NOT count), yet you’re calling me out for something you all do? The only people who can check me are Black trans people who don’t overly favor nonblack people and actual artists upset about not receiving credit. What do you even do? Are you an artist or just another basic aesthetic blog?

3. Also, what is a non-Black “aesthetic” that isn’t just a diluted version of Black culture, curation and taste? Perhaps nonblack people online (especially on Tumblr) should try going a week without using digital Blackface or culturally appropriating Black people they don’t know like that which they follow, lurk and stalk online. You’re not unique, 53v3nfrn5. You don’t challenge anti-Blackness here, so I don’t care if you or your predominantly non-Black friends are upset with me. Additionally, anyone using the term “lazy” to critique any Black person is being ableist and anti-Black. Your behavior—whining in my inbox and then blocking me before I could respond—only highlights your mediocrity and shows that your only claim to fame comes from being anti-Black.

i don’t own harvest moon and i really don’t have a problem with people making gifs of harvest moon. so you didn’t know i made those gifs, you reposted them, and i got upset. i’m allowed to be upset because i put time and effort into making these gifs, of course i want people to know that i made them. if you want to post gifs of harvest moon, you are more than welcome to do so. i will not stop you. why not try and make your own? if you want to repost my gifs however, you have to credit. it’s simply the right thing to do.

you say that you found these gifs on the internet and that you didn’t know they were mine when you posted them. that’s fine, it’s not your fault you didn’t know. but to come into my inbox with a message like that, telling me to get over the fact that i’m upset about my work not being credited… yes, i’m upset. i’ve had other blogs repost my original content and gifs for thousands of notes. of course i’m upset, i took those pictures and i made those gifs. you shouldn’t take them just because you can.

well, you know now, and you still have not taken down the gifs, nor have u given me credit. anyways, i’m no longer bothered about the claim. if you want my gifs to remain on your blog, keep them.
