So I noticed that youtube had Lovecraft audiobooks and started listening to them while grinding in videogames. And you know what? I knew Lovecraft was, like, ridiculously racist, but I didn’t know he was racist against, just, everything that lives, including groups you can’t technically be racist against anymore (and probably couldn’t even in his day, but he was a man behind of his time). Black people are cultists, the ancestors of the Inuit were literally the monster in Polaris (and by the way, even though he was living in a time when people called them “Eskimos” he called said ancestors “Inutos,” which can’t be a coincidence; motherfucker had to have studied, just so he could insult them in their own language), and his treatment of rural people makes Texas Chainsaw Massacre look sympathetic by comparison; “degenerate” is one of the nicer terms he uses.
This is hilariously fucked up, man.
