They say when someone dies, their soul is weighed by a monstrous deity. Every decision that soul made in that lifetime is considered. All the good. All the bad. All the stuff in between. And then...depending on how it held up in the judgement. Your soul would go to Paradise....well....that is if your soul was deemed to have been good enough. If not? Your soul went to Tartarus. To be tortured and punished for all eternity.
The question arises....how would the soul of a super soldier be judged? After all they were forced and tortured to do what they had too. So they’re innocent? And yet they did technically kill so maybe not? For prisoner 56893, this thought had only recently occured after she was recruited to be an undercover date/bodyguard/assassin who had an interest in philosophy and mythology. And even though she thought she was sure she knew the answer, as she walked outside to her handler with blood on her hands, she was once again unsure.
She wasn’t given much time to ponder the matter. Immediately being shoved into the room with the lightning and being forced to forget literally everything that had occurred for the past three months. Even the fact that it had been three months since she had last been in there. Before she was marched back down the hall. Passing a man with dark hair and eyes, wearing a mask over the lower half of his face. Who had a metal arm much like her own. Unlike his, however, her’s was already beginning to turn a shade of black that screamed diseased. Not yet though. And not that anyone there cared to look or check. So long as it functioned just like they wanted it too, it didn’t matter.
Watching him as he stormed down the hall with a large gun strapped to his back, she lost sight of him when the rest of crew closed ranks around him. A hand on her arm began to drag her down the hall, into the cold room. She was sure it was worse than the lightning room at honestly? It didn’t matter. They were both the same. At least in this one the feeling went away and there was nothing left at all.
56893 didn’t even get a last thought before the long sleep.
The sound of air hissing was the first thing she became aware of when she was awakened. As she opened her eyes and took the time to acclimate, there was something else she also became aware of. The sound of loud alarm blaring through the halls and a man who clearly wasn’t a part of Hydra running forward. Trying to get to her? Perhaps.
Not giving him the chance to get one up over her, she dropped out of where she was and raced across the room. Quickly closing the distance between her and the man who was frantic and clearly annoyed that she was up and about. Kicking out with her foot, she brought him to his knees and pulled his arm up behind his back.
“предатель,”
Prepared to do whatever it took to deal with this threat, she quickly became aware that they weren’t alone. Pulling him up to his feet and keeping him in a hold that he would not easily escape from, she put his body between hers and whoever was coming for them.
