Timing is everything, and luck is a close second. This little glowbaby blew right AFTER yesterday’s gig. I had no backup amp on stage, so a little sooner and there would have been nothing but silence. 40 watt fixed bias head - features 5AR4 rectifier, 6P3S-E output tubes (Russian 6L6GC type), 6SL7 phase inverter and 6SL7 input. Single channel and single control knob - volume only! external bias test points on rear panel. Housed in salvaged cabinet that was damaged in shipment but sanded and oiled anyway...nothing goes to waste @ Orion!
