We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closingOur hearts were never broken
And time's forever frozen, still . . .

This week's Cinephile Sunday
This coming Sunday the CAMS department has the pleasure to be showing its second film in this semester's Cinephile series. For those who don't know, this fall we are dedicating the program to the 100th year anniversary of Chaplin's creation of the tramp character.
This week we will be turning our attention to a vastly popular Indian actor and filmmaker who drew inspiration from Chaplin; Raj Kapoor. We will be showing his 1951 film, Awara (meaning 'tramp' in Hindi- an evident nod to Chaplin's character). This film is sure to intrigue all true cinephiles as well as lovers of Indian film.
What better way to spend a rainy fall evening than to share an old Bollywood gem with friends? Come join us at 5 pm in Collins Cinema for this classic film.
