1. Iguanas are herbivores. They like to eat fruits, flowers and leaves.

2. Iguanas are excellent swimmers and tend to be found near water.

3. A wild Iguanas average lifespan is 20 years in the wild, but it is shorter in captivity due to inappropriate care.

4. Iguanas can survive 40-50  foot drops without injuries.

5. Some iguanas are able to inflate themselves so that they can float on water.

This isn't exactly a #stopdropselfie like @awholestory requested, but it's my favorite picture from this past weekend. . She also tagged me to post #5randomfacts about myself, so here goes: . 1. I am a former classically trained opera singer (had Wolfgang before I could pursue professional work), played the viola and the piano and sang in a professional jazz choir. I do none of these things anymore. . 2. I used to win oodles of awards in FFA competitions for horticulture in high school. I was so awesome. . 3. I am a retired roller derby girl, a retired fancy cake baker and a recovering compulsive liar. (Not all of those things are awesome 😂) . 4. I once spent the day hanging out with some homeless kids in San Francisco while there on business with Microsoft. I save worms from puddles in the sidewalk. I buy extra cheeseburgers for the guys on the side of the road with signs. But I will tell you I am not at all a softie (a lie I need to stop trying to convince other people of)! . 5. I love color and lipstick and makeup and fancy hair, but spent a lot of the last ten years wearing black because I felt like my color was too bright for other people and I needed to dull it down ❤️ . I stumbled on a fun challenge via @yokoogibraan ! So here are 5 random facts about me, and please feel free to join in and share some fun facts about yourself! 1. As a kid I had around 12? baby teeth pulled over several years because I "have a small mouth" and my teeth weren't falling out fast enough, thus causing crowding and "unattractive" crookedness. I use to HATE my crooked teeth because dentists always said I'd be prettier with straight ones, but that's mean and not true and I have fine healthy teeth ✨ 2. I never had any sort of boyfriend or relationship type thing until I met Frank. No one liked me, I think I was scary to boys hahaa! I never cared much because I never liked anyone anyway. I always planned on being a lone hermit art monk, but then Frank just popped in to my life and I have zero regrets, it's nice to have a best best friend who is there for you. 3. I've mentioned before that my dad is a medical technician and does autopsies... In fact, on my dad's weekends to have us, my sisters and I would hang out at the lab while my dad worked, drawing, playing, looking through bags of body parts... Ya know, kid stuff. 4. I've encountered several ghosts.. The scariest one sat on me while I slept, I woke up to the feeling of pressure on my body, then my blanket was ripped off my body and thrown to the floor! 👻 5. I'm almost 30 and I never got my drivers license... Ever. #5randomfacts

Alrighty! I was tagged to do #5randomfacts by @lljerseygirl! So here's my facts, yo. 1. I always drop this one on facts about me. I can, in fact, lick my elbow. 2. I really miss living in Traverse City. I hope that I can move back there someday. But don't see it happening anytime soon unfortunately :( 3. I have a fondness for dark beers. Haven't tasted one that I haven't liked yet. 4. I miss home a lot but I'm glad I left. Going to college out of state was probably the best decision I made, regardless of the fact that I do have some family in Winston. I did a lot of growing in college and I continue that journey now, living independently of my family. 5. The one thing I'll miss the most if I ever move out of North Carolina is Cookout's caramel cheesecake milkshakes. Now, I tag @maleahp1 @stitchwitchspokane and @hannah19smith. Just for funsies! 1. Ketchup is my life

2. I’m starting University for Fashion Design this September. (excited yet very nervous)

3. I’m getting my wisdom teeth pulled out in a few weeks and I am absolutely terrified that I’ll accidentally tell my mom that I’ve had a boyfriend for 2.5 years now

4. I have 5 phobias that I’d rather not put up online. If you have any phobias, private message me and we can both dwell on our phobias together.

5. I can only open my mouth less than halfway because I have TMD (temporomandibular disorder. Blessed that I know how to use chopsticks because i can’t fit a spoon into my mouth sometimes.

FIRST: In questo momento sono decisamente tra il deluso e l'incredulo (vedere il post-poema subito sotto per comprenderne il motivo) SECOND: Ho un tatuaggio da finire, ma sono indecisa se farlo o meno. THIRD: Essenzialmente mi reputo una persona debole e poco interessante FOURTH: Ogni volta che guardo le braccia di qualcuno prima guardo le vene poi ricerco se ci sono "uova aliene nascoste" e sorrido sempre un po'. FIFTH: In riferimento alla precedente: le "uova aliene nascoste" sono dei "difetti della pelle" per così dire, che aveva una persona che ho ancora molto a cuore, che adoravo da morire e che chiamavamo così.
