29: Angels and Demons!AU

The night was large, the darkness continuing to creep onto the sky as the time passed. It was nice. The void of black surrounding him was comforting-- if not welcoming. It gave him power, more than he had during the day time at least.

The black cat's red-eyes glowed in the dark as he stared at the sky, wondering what his counterpart was doing at this exact moment. Kenma, the angel. It was laughable. How could a demon ever befriend someone like that? It was illegal, not to mention stupid. They were not meant to have met.

But they did, and they became friends.

Although each of them had their own ideals. Kuroo's was to give his subordinates and mortals that lived on Earth despair and death. Kenma's, like the angel he was, was the complete opposite. He wanted peace and safety for all. That is why the two of them should never have looked at each other in the first place.
