Cosplay groups (usually) see literally each and every single comment people leave on their YouTube videos. It’s probably not a great idea to comment about how cruddy you think their cosplays are or about how said cosplayers’ genders supposedly negate the quality or accuracy... right on the video.

Wait so you guys are not giving up completely on Soul and Maka right? It's just to update the Maka cosplay? Because I love Soul Eater and you guys do it justice :) I hope you love Soul and Maka as much as we do :)

No, we’re definitely not giving up on them. To be honest, we talked about it for like a year, saying we’d retire those costumes but we just CAN’T.

SO, we’ve simply decided to get new wigs, remake Maka’s jacket and skirt and fix shoes and such. We’ll be back, better than ever!

New Maka wig ordered!

If you're a stickler for accuracy like I can be, you'd be a little tired of Maka being white-blond instead of the ashy blond she is. I'm happy to be making the first step in redoing my whole Maka cosplay. By "whole," I mean new wig, a coat that fits me properly, a skirt that's not made of canvas, and fixing up my boots. I'll be sure to do a before-and-after picture after I'm done!
