Picked up a Jack Ryan novel for funsies in the thrift bc it looked semi interesting, and Jack Ryan just got introduced and is already the dumbest man to ever exist. The president’s son visiting the UK. worried people will recognize him, feeling like he’s being watched, doesn’t like the attention being who he is brings him. Takes his happy ass to the bar and is mad when someone tries to pick him up.

I know you can go to a bar and enjoy a drink alone if you want to but if you feel that worried about being recognized and if it brings people you care about into danger, stay in your goddamn hotel room you fucking idiot
