THE PRINCE DUKE DIARIES ♚
6 FEBRUARY 2025 | ANGUS : EAST SCRYNE FARM
The Duke of Rothesay carried out engagements in Angus. He started out his day by visiting East Scryne Farm in Carnoustie.
During his visit, William joined a roundtable hosted by the Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies), a charity working throughout the UK to address the attitudes and behaviours to farm safety and poor mental health in the next generation of farmers.
He engaged with the group as they shared their experiences of working on a farm and how organisations like the SAFYC can work to combat isolation and promote positive mental wellbeing in the farming community.
Afterwards, he took a small tour of the family run farmmeeting staff and veiwing their in-house innovative farming methods.
