Franco Valverde was our Wedding videographer. Franco truly felt like part of our family. He was great at making everyone feel comfortable. He essentially blended into the day and the video was never intrusive. When my husband and I received our cinematic video we were blown away. He captured the day perfectly. The smiles, small gestures, set up of shots and the laughs. We have watched the video over and over. We are so appreciative of Franco. My husband and I got married on June 27, 2015 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, MA. We hired Russell Smithe and his Assistant Filmmaker for the evening, Franco Valverde from 617Weddings to capture all the details of our Fairytale themed Wedding. Russell is extremely professional and has a non-invasive style of filming during the event leaves a lasting impression, shown in our cinematic film. Not only is he a talented film maker with a high standard & ability to create memories to last a lifetime but he also understands the other side of the business; SERVICE. From a service standpoint he goes above and beyond, more than I can express in this one, single review. Proper expectations are set from day one. He delivers in a more than timely fashion, and further more I can confidently say if you have any specific requests, “No” or “I’m not sure if that’s possible” is not in his vocabulary –he makes it happen! (No pressure for future Brides & Grooms Russell! J ) I also have to point out the phenomenal job done by Russell’s Assistant Filmmaker for the evening, Franco Valverde. He also did not disappoint and was there to help capture the gorgeous details every step of the way. Everything from capturing some great footage to ensuring my dress and veil were perfect for photos and video does not go unnoticed and is extremely appreciative in making the day and night go so smoothly! To future Brides & Grooms: Videography is the best way to capture these once in a lifetime memories in motion. Photos get you half way there but to be able to truly embrace the day and hear these live moments on an occasion that many girls dream of to be the most magical & memorable day of their lives AND doing it with Russell, Franco and the 617 Weddings team is PRICELESS. “Our video is so amazing!”

My husband and I chose RUSSELL SMITHE for our videographer for our wedding. We had a lot of hesitation just because of the all the money going out for a wedding all you think about is where to cut out and also hearing from people "don't get a video you'll never watch it, I haven't watched mine in 10 years." Well okay let me clarify something... Maybe 10-15 years ago you wouldn't watch your video, but technology has come SO far. I am SO glad we decided to book a videographer. Not only have we watched our full and trailer videos multiple times, but so has our family. You don't just get to look through an album or flip through pictures- you literally get to RE-LIVE your whole day/night. Our wedding day went by literally in the blink of an eye and there are a lot of little details that you do miss. It's so nice to watch our video, we pick up new things every time, we laugh, cry, we also get to see each guests face and we can feel the energy all over again. It's amazing. Not only did book Russ right away, there was something about him that we loved. He was so easy going, mellow, soft spoken, but the minute he played us a few cinematic trailers we saw and fell in love with his talent. We've seen Russell since, at a friend’s wedding and hope to see him at more! He was awesome the day of the wedding, and he was so sly, never ever in the way and barely even seen. Yet he captured it all. Our video is so amazing!! We can't thank you enough Russell.

My husband and I got married on June 27th at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. We hired DJ Jimmie Espo from 617 Weddings and we were absolutely thrilled with our decision and the job he did that evening! He’s professional, he knows his stuff, he takes control of the crowd and gets everyone on their feet (even Gram was dancing the ENTIRE night). He knows how to bring the energy to a whole new level right from the start; it’s not always just about the Bride & Groom but also about the guests who come out to celebrate such a memorable night and 2 months later the guests are STILL raving about the overall Wedding and especially the music which had all age ranges partying the night away

We also hired Jimmie to do the Uplighting in the ballroom, Monogram lights on the dance floor as well as the “Happily Ever After” Gobo lighting on the wall to tie in our Fairy Tale themed Wedding. (Proof is in the photos & video clips from 617 Weddings –they came out INCREDIBLE with these special detailed touches.)

We also hired him to provide the Air-Booth Photo Kiosk (another HUGE hit!) If you want someone to hide in the DJ booth for the entire night and play music then Jimmie isn’t your guy. If you are looking for someone to provide the overall entertainment; run the night with ease; keep the party going ‘till the very end and fully be involved with the Bride & Groom from start to finish then what are you waiting for!? Look no further because Jimmie is the man for the job! Thanks for helping to make our Fairy Tale Wedding come to life! -Truly was a "Happily Ever After" kind of night!

“DJ Chuck made the atmosphere electric!”

“ From the minute my wife and I met DJ Chuck we knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He understood perfectly what atmosphere we wanted and went right into how he could make our wedding perfect. Chuck is professional, courteous, and fun to be around. From the moment he arrived at our venue, Glen Magna Farms, he made sure that we were all comfortable and ready to go. We had a wide variety of guests from ages 21-80 and his music selection kept everyone entertained all night. Since our wedding my wife and I have had many phone calls and texts from our friends saying that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to... we give all the credit for those comments to our DJ because Chuck made the atmosphere electric! Without Chuck it just wouldn't have been as fun. I want to have another party just so I can have him come DJ it for me!”
