Today I saw that I have become stronger.
I handled social triggers with more awareness and better boundaries than I did in the past. I noticed old wounds being activated, but I didn't let them control my actions.
Later, my brother's message about work brought up deep sadness. I realized that what hurt most was not his situation itself, but the helplessness of loving someone and not being able to change their life.
I saw a pattern running through my family: when someone I love suffers, I automatically feel responsible. I confuse love with burden.
Today I learned an important distinction:
I can care deeply without being responsible.
I can love my brother without being responsible for his life. I can love my mother without being responsible for her problems. I can love my father without being responsible for his choices. I can be kind to friends without solving their struggles. I can love a partner without carrying their life on my shoulders.
Love does not require rescue.
My responsibility is to live my own life well, continue learning, and build the stable, healthy future I want.
Today I recognized a pattern that has followed me for years. That awareness gives me the opportunity to change my trajectory.
I am growing. I am learning boundaries. And I deserve kindness from myself along the way.
"The boundary is simply that love doesn't require you to carry everyone."
