Dean’s on the bed now. He’s propped himself against the headboard and is holding Sam in his arms, kissing him softly, touching him gently, whispering love into his brother’s ear.

He notices a sort of itch in his side. He rubs at it a little, and when he brings his hand back up to Sam’s face, he pauses. It’s covered in blood.

He looks beside him and sees the comforter is covered in blood. He suddenly remembers he was injured by the witch. His hand shakes in nervousness. His side suddenly feels numb.

“Oh no,” Dean says softly.
