Life as a tall girl...
Being a tall female sometimes society can really feel like it's not made for you; you don't fit into this this small demographic of what the media deem as the ideal women/body type.
When you're 6'2 in retrospect everyone's smaller than you and I sometimes find I need to remind myself that there's nothing wrong with me, I'm just me. Being a female in today's modern society can be hard enough sometimes without everyone pointing out your differences.
Eg.
Where do you buy your clothes from?
.... I shop at the same places as everyone else. I mean sure buying the same cute dress that looked adorable on that 5'9 girl, It's not really the same Shopping experience, it's a tad on the short side when you lose 3-4 inches in length because your torso is that much longer. I've come to terms with I'm never going to own a dress mid thigh length unless I buy one that was actually intended to be knee length.
People asking how tall I am then commenting where they come up to on me...
i'm not a zoo attraction where they have those signs for kids to stand next to to indicate you're 1/16 of a friggin t-Rex, don't be that person it's annoying.
People comparing their hand and feet sizes to mine...
If you make a reference of "OMG they're so big" I'm literally going to punch you in the fucking throat!! I swear to god! I'm 6'2 yes they're 'big', but they're in proportion with the rest of me, did you ever consider maybe you're limbs are abnormally small? If they were smaller my balance would likely be completely off. I wear a size 12/13 US, to be fair my feet are actually small for my height. You've got 5'8 bitches out there who are waking around with a size 10 foot, mathematically speaking when you look at the height to foot size ratio they have bigger feet than mine!
How did you get so tall? Does it run in your family? Do you play basketball?
I just grew... it's really that simple that's how I got this tall I grew, and for the record not every tall person plays basketball! Believe me when I say that being tall does NOT guarantee coordination.
