Almost 18 years ago as part of the MIT Track & Field graduating class, Coach Halston Taylor (still coaching!) gave me an XL "Has-Beens" t-shirt, because in his words, I'd probably need one without having the discipline instilled by being on the team. Although I did in fact shoot up from 167 lbs at my lowest in college to 183, I was able to get back into the 170s for most of my adult life. Today, I weighed in at 166 lbs, the lowest I've weighed since high school, thanks to CrossFit 🏋️🏻♂️, multi-sport 🏊🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️, and as of 2019 a Paleo diet.
