Meanwhile, it's one day to go! Let's go memory lane small... I remember the conception of this song back in May 2019, in my sole corper's lodge room, Gamawa, Bauchi State. . A lot was happening to me, I had moved into the year from a rock bottom situation that drained me of interest and so much energy and at the time I felt I needed to run away, NYSC threw me to Bauchi against all redeployment tactics. . In the room, I had sooo much time to converse with PAPA and HE directed me to put my feelings into lyrics, attach a melody, sing the notations and then, I left it half way. @psalmuel_akins got my call on which way to carve the melody but I'm sure Egbon must have forgotten. 😂 And yet, I was not out of my situations at the time, I was still sunk in, though not as deep as before, but deep enough to make me cry at the slightest thinking, and uncertain of my entire life. . I stayed halfway on the first verse and chorus for days and when I finally put up something together, I lost the book (till today) and I can't remember the lyrics except the one I've been stuck on. . Fast forward to November, I called on my darling Sister and Virtue @lizzydee_onas for a collab and after seeking God's face, we yielded! When I was getting pained for not finding the 2nd verse, I got so stuck on @lizzydee_onas' verse that hmm, I can't explain! . December, we recorded and here we are!
