In Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, it doesn't matter if you timeout Meiling's midboss nonspell/spellcard or if you capture the spell, the "Enemy 0", healthbar and timer would reappear for a brief moment after the dialogue is finished.

In Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, it doesn't matter if you timeout Meiling's midboss nonspell/spellcard or if you capture the spell, the "Enemy 0", healthbar and timer would reappear for a brief moment after the dialogue is finished.
In Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, if you timeout the last spellcard of bosses, when the timer reaches zero the healthbar will start to increase before disappearing.
But if the healthbar is already full, it will still increase and go beyond the timer.
It can happen to Patchouli (Easy/Normal), Remilia and Flandre. But if you deplete enough health from their healthbars and then wait until the timer reaches zero, the healthbar won't extend so much anymore.
This also happens in ver. 0.08+ for Rumia, Cirno and Meiling.
Selecting Score or Music Room from the main menu of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil ver. 0.08+ and then returning back, would have a black transition. Also, the Start option would be selected upon returning.
In ver. 1.00, the transition back to the main menu is white and the Score or Music Room option would be selected upon returning (depending which one you chose).

Reimu A is silent when shooting when her power between 16 and 31.
Rumia’s spellcard 夜符「ナイトバード」Night Sign "Night Bird" is not available on Easy Mode. However, if you timeout her first nonspell, that spellcard will appear. If her lifebar is intact, you won’t be able to catch it.
You can catch that spellcard if you shoot her in her first nonspell but leave a little bit of her lifebar and wait until the timer reaches 0. Then, her lifebar during Night Sign “Night Bird” will be very short and you will be able to catch the spell.
Also, on higher difficulties if you timeout her first nonspell and leave her lifebar full you won’t be able to catch the spellcard either.
