Best Teen Wolf Episode: Round 1

6x06 thoughts and speculations
- At the end of the episode Lydia says that she thinks the Ghost Riders take people’s souls (like Noshiko said in 5x01) and use the body to make ghost riders. So perhaps they resurrected Claudia as a ghost riders to keep the sheriff from remembering Stiles.
- That also means that if Lydia is true, shouldn’t Stiles and all the others be converted into these creatures? That brings us to what Lydia and Theo said that the Hunt is “stuck” for some reason in Beacon Hills. I think it’s because of the Nemeton, since it attracts the supernatural and maybe because of that it’s harder to leave Beacon Hills. Or, it has to do with Parrish since we know the Hellhound and the Wild Hunt are connected
- LAYDEN KISSING ISNT NECESSARY NOBODY WANTS IT JUST LEAAAAVEEEEE
- Great, trust that Nazi Werewolf/teacher. Scott should’ve warned them, lol.
- AND the teacher now also knows about werewolves. I mean, Liam and Hayden think he is ordinary, and think he is new to the supernatural but godfucking dammit even Scott wasn’t that dumb in sophomore year.
- Great, resurrect Theo. Great fucking plan to pull a sociopath in the plan.
- Scott napping just warmed my heart. Idk, I just liked it, him resting. Sleeping. Gave me a nostalgic feeling to the earlier seasons.
- Holy fuck. Canaan is like a horror movie.
- I immediately knew that what Malia saw was an hallucination, my friend though was screaming.
- I found it quite interesting that the hallucination of Scott was his mom where a piece of her skull was gone, bitten of. Hint that the Nazi Werewolf will hurt her?
- Kayden/Caleb or how that kid is named is terrifying. This is the reason I don’t want kids.
- I think the drowning represents that the child is “drowning” so to speak. Mentally, of course. He is dying, even though he’s already dead. Perhaps something like that will happen along those lines with Claudia? That eventually she does die, again? Kind of like a parasite in a body.
- Leonor (the banshee in Canaan) is very interesting. You obviously immediately saw she was mentally ill, considering she’s alone and has the shadow/illusion of her child. (Theories have also said that Claudia might be a shadow/illusion so there is definitely a connnection, even if it’s far stretched) It also showed that Lydia is capable of so much more. She only truly learned about her powers in Junior year, so she hasn’t had much experience. I don’t really get how the banshee could shut doors and make Scott and Malia drown since that’s not really... associated with banshees but we’ll get an episode dedicated to the folklore of the banshee so we’ll get information.
- Why did Stiles send them specifically to Canaan and not another ghost town? What was so special about Canaan? Did he recognise the name, perhaps?
- Is it bad that I liked the fact there was no Corey or Mason?
- I think the train station is actually the place where they keep them since they can’t get out of Beacon Hills, so they needed a place to keep them all. It probably takes too much time to convert them to ghost riders one by one so they keep them there, until they have figured out a way to get out of Beacon Hills.
- That’s quite confusing though, in Canaan, everyone disappeared immediately. But here, they pick randomly. Sometimes many people, sometimes just one person, like Stiles. They keep them... let’s say hostage in a place, probably because they can’t leave.
- What I wonder though is that if the theory of Lydia is true, shouldn’t there be hundreds of ghost riders? If a whole town is converted to ghost riders than shouldn’t there be many? Or are they all over the world, and this specific group is stuck in Beacon Hills? I don’t know.
- We see Liam and Hayden in the basement (of Eichen House? I can’t remember) and in the trailer we saw a quick glimpse of Scott, Malia and Lydia in the same place. In the promo picture the background is that basement. (with a lil’ photoshop, but still) So maybe that place is connected to the train station, and with the scream of Lydia, she’ll be where Stiles is in a vision/dream/illusion and will find a way to get him and the rest out of there.
- My heart broke when Lydia said she didn’t want to be left alone, c’mere Lydia! *hugs her tight*
- Malia crying... interesting. The last time we’ve seen her cry was when she converted into human again and hugged with her father for the first time in so many years.
- SO YOU BRING BACK NOSHIKO AND THE SWORD OF KIRA BUT NOT KIRA?
- The Nazi Werewolf dresses like a teenager like what the fuck.
- Liam’s hair is so bad I want to cry.
- I wonder if the child thinks he’s still in 1987 or somewhat in that time area.
- No cheesy background music, as far as I know, so great.
- Teen Wolf totally stole that mirror scene from Alice Through The Looking Glass, just sayin’.
- Right, the Melissa-Chris plot that wasn’t necessary. Perhaps the bonding was necessary, I don’t know. I just feel like we wasted some precious time on Celtic names of herbs we don’t even know.
- And how the hell does Melissa still maintain her job?
- Aha, the sheriff starts investigating! The frontotemperal dementia thing was probably something that set him off. Even though it’s a frightening thought, “Shouldn’t my wife be dead by now?” I’m glad he still goes through with his plan.
- I also liked the last shot of his surprised/terrified face when he rips the wallpaper a little further. I expected it to be in this episode so yay!
- Why is the blood on the horse from the carrousel still fresh? Or it looks fresh to me, at least. Does time kind of stands still? Like time isn’t a thing in the train station.
- Why can’t Leonor and Caden leave? Because he’s dead and stuck in the town, kind of like the citizens of Storybrooke? (Once Upon A Time)
- YES I MISSED LYDIAS POWERS
- How come Malia gulp that glass of lemonade down but it’s still full?
That’s it! Stay tuned for 6x07!
Predictions 6x06 “Ghosted”
Okay so next episode we’ll get those scenes we saw in the trailer with the bloody caroussel (is that how it’s written?) So, we know it’s an abandoned town, the one Stiles (!!!!!!) sent them to. And as far as the trailer goes, no 2.0 or Nazi Werewolf, but you never know...
Anyway, here’s my prediction.
So, they’ll go, with new hope, to the town for clues and hopefully bring back Stiles.
“We saw people dissapearing in clouds of smoke.” I think Lydia saw something that had happened, like when she relived the moment Stiles ran away from the Hunt (and she almost got ran over by a car but whatever) But that means Lydia can trigger(?) something withn herself to see all... that. Lydia’s powers are confusing, okay!
“Do you ever have nice dreams?” So it was a dream? Or vision? Was it like 6x02 when Lydia “woke up” when she heard the train.
So we have that creepy lady, probably the only woman in the village. We know she’s a banshee and we know she’s dangerous since... well...
We saw that bitch in the teaser trailer!
AND YAY LYDIA POWERS!
What I like to point out is that the clothes the woman is wearing are quite outdated. So, how long has it been or, do banshees actually age? When we saw flashbacks of Meredith in s4 she looked exactly the same, so maybe the ladyis from a few decennia’s ago and doesn’t want to change into something more modern.
What I also think will happen next ep. is that 2.0 will reawaken Theo because already a lot has happened from what we’ve seen in the teaser and trailer only the reawakening of Theo and the sheriff starting the investigation of his son. Of course they’ll not show everything but this is just a hunch at what might happen soon. I think 6x07 or the ending of 6x06 will be Lydia opening the entrance to Stiles’ room and waiting on the sheriff. But she has the jersey, so I’m not sure. My guesses go to 6x07.
Oh, and importantly, will Stiles return for the next episode? Perhaps talk to Gwen and her sister?
