When you actually shake really hard and cry in the bathroom after presenting a project in class but everyone thinks you're so self centered When you won't ask the teacher a question during class because you don't want to sound stupid When you shake off friends blowing you off all the time When you sit alone at lunch When you stopped even going to lunch When everyone says cigarettes are cancer and alcohol is poison Yes I know this But they are still kind to me. They show me more affection than my dad did and they give me more confidence than my sisters ever did they loved me harder than my mother ever could I am not self centered I am selfish I am cement I am a dried up well in the Sahara desert I am a fool in a room full of lawyers I promise you I am not self-centered
