I ended up finally listening to the @kingfallsam July 1st Beyond the Falls excerpt today on my way home from work. I gotta say how incredibly grateful I am to the guys that create this podcast and how much time, effort, and love they pour out into their story for their fans. King Falls AM followed me around the country while I traveled and worked at different renaissance festivals and was still there for me when I had to move across the country again when my mom nearly died after being diagnosed with cancer. I've had a lot of low points in the past year, and felt very alone for most of it, despite having my amazing support group. But KFAM still gave me a reason to laugh and feel apart of something bigger and better than myself. Hearing Kyle extend his ear to anyone who just needed to talk about their mental illness brought me to tears, no joke. I couldn't be more grateful for these amazing, talented, caring people.
I can't wait for the hiatus to be over so that I can continue to take everyone on the KFAM team with me while I get my certificate to teach English as a foreign language and move to China.
"Worrying means you suffer twice." - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, mentioned by Kyle Brown in the excerpt.
"Bad times are tough, but not tougher than me." - Been Arnold, KFAM
Another friendly reminder that this blog loves Dansby Swanson very much a lot a lot a lot
I know how Orioles fans are feeling right now. It’s hard to see your team get traded away, for players you’ve loved for years start to wear other colors. We’ve been there. And it hurts.
I just want to welcome any and all Orioles fans into the Braves family. You don’t have to come, and you don’t have to stay. Just know that you are welcome here, and we love you, and we promise, it gets better. You’ll have new youngsters you learn to love, and maybe even some oldsters that make your team Amazing. But for now, and for this seaosn at least, feel free to join the chop.
