Good news, i just read my patient portal results and (beyond all the medical terminology I don't know) I can at least glean that the cancer did not go to my brain. :D FINDINGS: There is no acute ischemia or infarct. No restricted diffusion. No abnormal gradient signal. There are preserved vascular signal voids the base of skull. Paranasal sinuses are clear. Gray-white differentiation is normal. No mass effect or edema. Specifically, no vasogenic edema. There is no abnormal enhancement. CONCLUSION:No evidence for intracranial metastases. No acute ischemia or infarct.
Anyone know what vascular signal voids are? ah, in this case it means good blood flow.
