Today, I had the pleasure of listening to a seminar by Bedwyr Williams. Not only is he a great artist but a really engaging speaker. He spoke about how his work has developed and lots of different performance art/exhibitions he has taken part in.
This video snippet is a piece of work called Hotel 70º. It explores a narrative of a man running into a 70º corner and then his life at 70º.
The best thing I took away from today was Williams attitude towards art and artists. He knew the real struggle behind the dream but forced his way to make it a reality. I know that even if my dream isn’t being an Artist, it will still involve art, and, for certain, I will have to work my socks off to make it happen. #thedream
