#7036 Alesmith Speedway Stout with Mostra Coffee and Coconut (USA) Shouts to my guy @craiglerlife in SD for this one! This bad boy is a variant of San Diego’s Alesmith’s classic Speedway Stout with coffee beans from Mostra (from Brazil, the Phiippines and El Salvador), and coconut. It comes in at a boozy 12% and pours jet black with a deep tan head and a chocolate coffee nose, the body is crazy thick and decadent, the coconut as expected sits in the background while the coffee delivers fruity, bitter vibes and rides the front row, it’s creamy and smooth, a touch tangy with some nutty and dark fruit vibes, incredibly drinkable for the ABV, wrapping in a slightly dry, grainy, sticky finish.
