This reminds me of what happened with @pmseymourva 's OC.
To put it simply, he has a character called Cyana, she was originally a robot until Santa Claus granted her wish and turned her into a lunar elf.

Then the incels began complaining because they prefer robot women so to shut them up PM made a new character called Azuri.
They did a similar thing with Tari because it keeps both Tari and 74R1 fans happy and they eliminated the baggy clothes because it's near impossible to animate and it's perfectly acceptable for a robot to walk around naked.
