I want to say I’m shock that 751 more indigenous children were found at a residential school in Saskatchewan, Canada. But sadly that isn’t the case.
Out of 751 children only 7 were reported deceased. 744 other children went unreported and their families went with out answers for decades.
It’s shameful that my home, my country; Canada did such a horrendous act against innocent children in the name of colonization in the name of ‘religion’.
Over 1,300 babies have been discovered in mass unmarked graves and its angering that more will be found.
May these children run free and play like children should. May these babies reunite with their families.
Reconciliation doesn’t just mean acknowledging it happened to have reconciliation you need reconciliaction.
Educate on indigenous struggles, support indigenous voices and their beliefs. Stand with our sisters, brothers and two spirits. Educate yourself today so the future can be brighter and safer for our communities.
Listen, learn, respect.
Boost their voices, don’t talk over them.
I’ll provide some links to help learn and educate yourselves.

One last thing before you go, please participate in community activities that your indigenous communities hold for the public, take part in vigils, celebrations, and events hosted. When the truth and reconciliation act was made in 2016 it look 5 years for the traction to be what it is now don’t let it burn out and don’t let our indigenous peoples burn out from educating on the horrors that have happened to them.
