#7581 5e Baron x À La Derive NZ Pale (Canada) Big ups Uncle @nathandoesbeer for this one from the Gatineau lords 5e and ALD. Coming in at 4%, this is a Pale Ale with Motueka and Nelson Sauvin brewed for ALD’s recent anniversary. It pours opaque with a foamy head and a tropical nose, the body is crisp and smooth with a dusty white wine vibe alongside light citrus notes, it’s fruity with mango, pineapple and tangerine, extremely crushable, with a dry, passionfruit finish. Pensively drinking this #7581 #ripepuer while thinking about why we still race animals for entertainment. Today in Australia is the Melbourne Cup horse race (a huge event celebrated around the country). Usually at least one horse will die as a result of injuries sustained in it. More broadly, systemic animal abuse from horse and dog racing continues to be revealed.
