762 miles and a 12 hour drive. That separates my heart from your heart. My finger tips from your lips, And my green eyes from your blue ones. It feels like a million years until you’ll be in my bed, and I’ll be in your arms. And a million more before we won’t have to say goodbye ever again. I dread the goodbye. It means we could walk away and never see each other again. But it also means we could have more faith in this. More faith in us. We stare at the same moon, on nights that we can sneak away from life and see each others faces. From 762 miles away, this is the closest we can get to real life., It’s the moon and the stars shining down on us. Whispering not to give up. Telling us this isn’t hopeless. Promising an end to the miles and an end to this ache.
