Levi Ackerman Opens Up About His Relationship With Petra Ral: From Fans to Lovers.

Since his first debut, Levi Ackerman is known to be notoriously private when it comes to his personal life, specifically about whom he’s dating.

More than a year after the dating rumours between Ackerman and Ral started to spread among fans, the stars kept a pretty low profile during their relationship. Even after being spotted showing affections on their last summer vacation, neither spoke about the other in a really public way.

So you can imagine our surprise when the No Name vocalist was open to have a deep talk about his relationship with his co-star, Petra Ral in the September issue of Voque.

“It’s great to have someone who understands you, who fully accepts you and even smiles while talking about your flaws like it’s okay,” Ackerman tells the Voque writer when asked about a special person in his life. “And yes, I have that someone right now,” adds The Attack on Titan star.

When asked if Petra Ral is the special person, Ackerman replies, “I think it’s already obvious.”

Ral has been a fan of No Name and everyone knows it. It was rumoured that she had a poster of Ackerman on her wall when she was a teenager. But no one ever expected that Ackerman was also a fan of her.

“She’s a great woman.” Ackerman answers with a smile when asked about what he thinks about the former Global UNISEF Goodwill Ambassador. “She has the best heart--the prettiest. She’s the warmest and kindest person in every room she walks into. The first time I heard her powerful speech about children's right to freedom when she took home the Golden Globe, I became a fan straight away. I fell for her heart.”

Ever since their dating rumours spread, the age gap between them has always been a hot topic for discussions. With a 12 year age difference, some fans thought their relationship would not go anywhere serious. Even the “Dark Side of the Moon” singer admits that he had thought the same at the beginning of their relationship.

“The first time I met her, I was instantly attracted. But, I didn’t really think about it because of some reasons. And yeah.. that [their age gap] was one of them.”

“Even after we’re getting closer as a team on the set, I still wasn’t sure. I knew I liked her, but I wasn’t sure if the feelings were mutual because of that [their age gap]. She’s so young and free. She might have thought I was an uncle. But I still wanted to try. I asked her for dinner with Hange and Mike because she told me once she’s a fan of us [No Name band]. Later on, it’s just the two of us. And then it was kind of clear that she came [to their dinner] not as a fan anymore. I think we were together from that moment on. Age became just a mere number.”

As willing as he may seem to talk about his relationship, Levi wasn’t comfortable sharing too much when we asked about his future plans, specifically with his special person.

“Uh.. There’s a lot to think and.. I don’t know. I never thought about marriage before and I don’t like spoilering things but this one [his relationship with Ral] is special.”
