It's Gallery Time Again!

Friday, November 24th

OoC Information: THIS IS NOT AN IN-GAME EVENT! This is meant as just something fun to headcanon for your character (and write about if you like - especially with @daily-writing-challenge starting on the 26th), if it is something they are able to attend! If you do choose to write any stories about this, please feel free to tag me - @vixannya - in the body of the post and use the tag #7deadlysins!

Vixannya owns an art gallery in Dalaran where she hosts various art exhibitions throughout the year. Two or three times a year, she will display her own work which is always accompanied by a massive grand opening and follow-up afterparty in another location.

Invitations are always given to those who make large contributions to the gallery and to the arts in general, as well as to prominent families from all over, friends, fellow Tarts, and those depicted in her work.

VIP access goes to the largest contributors, her muses, and anyone who purchases one of the pieces from the gallery on opening night. Even if your character cannot attend the grand opening and afterparty, the gallery is open to the public for a month! !Adults only!

Her final exhibition of the year is:

The red carpet treatment always marks the entrance of the gallery,  a place for the guests to show off and be photographed in their designer gowns and suits, or whatever else they choose to wear. The fashion seen here always rivals that of the city’s grandest galas, just don’t upstage the art!

A group of master illusionists have transformed both the inside of the gallery and the afterparty space, with the various rooms mirroring themes in their separate locations. The themes: Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, Wrath, Envy, and Lust. The gallery version of each space is a little more simplified than that of the afterparty, in order to feature the art over all else.

The art itself has a single or multiple subjects, each containing one of the sins in some manner. There are 45 pieces in total; most small or medium size with at least one larger piece in each section. All of the paintings fall within her main area of focus, the one she has become well-known for, Death. All paintings are premonitions of how her living muses will die, according to her. Many of which, in the past, have shockingly come true.

The After Party:

While most of her after parties consist of four very different spaces that match the theme of the gallery itself, this one has SEVEN different spaces to each represent one of the deadly sins.

Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, and Wrath are the ‘safe’ areas! While drinking and drugs are acceptable everywhere, the lewd acts are reserved for the last two sets of locations.

Envy and Lust are the ‘anything goes WITH CONSENT’ areas.

PRIDE: Grand ballroom with a large dance floor, orchestra playing classical music, champagne towers, large chandeliers, waiters at your beck and call.

GLUTTONY: Massive buffets, fine sit down dining, bars with every type of alcohol (and drug) available.

SLOTH: Massages, saunas, facials, mani/pedis, large hot tubs, any other type of spa service, quiet and nap rooms.

GREED: High stakes poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, jazz musicians and singers.

WRATH: Various popular rock/metal bands and mosh pits to begin the party. DJs playing EDM, raving, neon lights to close out the party. 'Rage rooms' in the back for people to go ham breaking all variety of things!

ENVY: Cabaret and burlesque performers, aerialists, body shots, live peep shows featuring singles, doubles, or more - with the opportunity to become a part of a peep show.

LUST: Escorts available, BDSM demonstrations and experiences, private or group rooms, open spaces where anything goes! Masks available for anonymity.

November DWC Day 2 - Sin

How he had missed all of this. The bright lights, The adrenaline, The roar of the crowd, And performing with… her.

It had been years since Red and Gabbrialla had performed on a stage together, and honestly over those years he had forgotten why they ever stopped. They were the perfect deadly duo up there; she the femme fatale with the killer vocals and legs that went on for days, and he the tattooed ‘bad boy’ guitarist that could outshred the best of the best.

It was all Gabby’s idea, she was the one that had secured the contract with Vixannya to perform at her 7 Deadly Sins afterparty, then reached out to Red when her usual guitarist had to back out due to ‘family issues’. Of course he would step in and help, he could never say no to her, and he rarely did. Once upon a time, these two could be found all over Azeroth gracing smaller stages with their talent to earn some coin before traveling onto the next location. While she had continued on with her career in singing, Red’s life had taken him far away from the stage for a variety of reasons - but damn it felt good to be back.

‘Nervous’ wasn’t really in his vocabulary, but there was a certain feeling of trepidation hanging above him prior to walking out onto that stage. There were a lot of nobles and upper class in this crowd, likely a few that could very well recognize him from his previous life. But it had happened so long ago, would anyone even care anymore? Would they even remember? Did he even care if they recognized him? Probably not. It was all just an excuse at this point.

It didn’t matter anyways, the feeling melted away the moment he stepped in front of the screaming crowd. As always, Gabbrialla immediately charmed them, making half of the audience fall in love with her. She had that effect on many, and Red certainly wasn’t immune. All of this felt good and natural, and having his entire crew and all his friends there to watch reignited something within that he thought was lost. 

It wasn’t until they had walked off stage and Gabby draped an arm around his waist that he snapped out of this euphoric trance. “There’s the old Red I remember. I think you made some fans out there.”

Red smirked down at the black-haired siren, resting his own arm around her shoulders, “Pretty sure you’re the one about to have dozens of marriage proposals.”

She grinned, not arguing that. “So, you wanna do it again?”

“Hmm?”

“Perform. Do you want to keep performing with me? You don’t have to quit your day job, I’ve just missed this.” Stepping in front of him, she batted those long lashes and wet those ruby red lips. “Plus, you’re the best at what you do, and I want the best.”

Damn her.

“I’ll think about it.”

Of course he would say yes, he could never say no to her and rarely did.

Appearance

Andromedais a beautiful young woman with a slender yet curvaceous physique, a big bust standing at around 5 feet 9 inches tall. She has long, dark brown hair (like in the image above, once again don't own it) which she wears down and her bangs cover her right eye but later stopped, later ending with a similar hairstyle to her original incarnation. She also has beautiful large light blue eyes like her sister which can turn orange while gaining a triskele (though initially it only was her right eye).

Andromedaalways wears a blue earring with the symbol of the Liones royal family, compromising of the sun, the moon, and stars.

She is often seen wearing her Boar Hat uniform which consist of an open-backed navy-blue button up shirt with a white necktie, a short white skirt with slits and a belt, and a long black stocking on her right leg with black heels. Her also has two detached navy-blue sleeves starting at her bicep and end at her wrist with frills.

Personality: Andromeda is quite the serious individual. Andromeda can be quite cold when you first meet her. But despite her cold nature at first, Andromeda is revealed to be kind-hearted and caring. She's a very good-natured girl with a gentle smile almost always on her lips.

In truth, Andromeda is actually a very polite, grateful and caring individual who prefers a rather peaceful, diplomatic approach, even during war. At heart, she is a genuine and kind person, who never would harm anyone.

Andromeda is also known for her shape tongue and quick wittiness. Once she is insulted, she will insult back but 100x more effective. You can't out-sass the sass-master. You can't outwit her either. Andromeda is also very clever and sly.

Andromeda is shown to be tough and brave, but Elizabeth always mentions she has a charm-like aura with a gentle voice. Andromeda also isn't naive and clumsy like her sister. Andromeda is also a rational person and often thinks head over heart unlike her sister. Andromeda is very mature as well and not a crybaby, actually she tends to hide her emotions because she doesn't want to both anyone with her silly emotions as she calls them or be a burden.

In summary, despite it not appearing so at first, Andromeda is truly a kind and caring individual. She is actually very civil, levelheaded, and helpful. She is also seen to be regal and politically charged, she knows how to care for her people/subjects and how to act as a queen. She is also a very selfless person, often putting others needs, her sisters mostly, over her own. When you first meet her, she appears to be cold and distant. However, once she warms up to you, she's actually very warm, kind, and loving.

[Magical powers]

Ark: An archetypal magic technique of the Goddess Clan which creates light particles. It can be used in different ways such as energy beams, explosions, barriers, or extremely large blades, in her case equal and wider than the leader of the Archangels'. It is mainly used to counteract darkness by disintegrating it with light, but it also can cause great physical damage to the targets. Offensively, Andromeda utilizes Ark as her main attack method, using it on a considerable and later massive scale despite her pacifist nature: An involuntary Ark was enough to obliterate the flesh of [_______]' s hand while the attack of a Divine Lance Corporal was completely ineffective against it. ​​​​​​Sometime later, her Ark grew enormously in size and power enough to bruise Meliodas in his Assault Mode, enclose Estarossa by sending him fly with enough force to cause considerable damage to a nearby mountain range, and then again even when he absorbed three Commandments.

Let There Be Light: Just like her original incarnation, Andromeda crosses her arms, firing off drill-shaped projectiles purifying massive darkness and extracting it from the target, including any lingering hatred the dead may leave behind that prevents them from fully passing on, even when inside a host. It can also be used to rip darkness off someone's body, including the Indura form of the Demon Clan.

Tranquilize: Andromeda outstretches her arms and creates a purifying mist. It is strong enough to expel centuries-worth of demonic miasma out of [_______________].

Healing: As a druid, Andromeda can heal injuries rather easily by channeling her power. Unlike her sister, Andromeda knew how to control her healing power by the first time she accidently conjured it. She has been able to heal severe injuries from armies or groups filled with lethal damages for a long time. Hendrickson admitted that even the master druids' and Elizabeth's healing capabilities pale in comparison to Andromeda's prowess, who is even capable of dispelling a curse placed by the Demon King's magic on a minor extent despite the fact she hadn't recovered her previous memories yet.

Empathic Power: Like her original incarnation, Andromeda has developed a mysterious ability that allows her to persuade others by speaking into their hearts and souls. During the opening battle of the Holy War, she swayed dozens of minor demons to flee from battle with the "Search-and Destroy-Force" despite them having to obey the highest-ranked demons Chandler and Cusack's orders, an achievement which Sariel praised her for.

Flight: Andromeda has displayed the ability to call upon her original wings for flight purposes. Her wings are strong enough to lift Diane in her giant form for certain time.

The Curse: Andromeda, just like her sister Elizabeth, was cursed with eternal reincarnation. Because she supported her sister and Meliodas' relationship, was a part of stigma, and fought against the gods, Andromeda was cursed alongside Meliodas and her sister. The curse forced Andromeda to be reborn as a human each time she died, but things weren’t so simple. Each time she got reincarnated, she would forget all about her previous lives and Meliodas. Once she regains the memories of their past lives, she’ll die in three days, that too in front of Meliodas and nothing can prevent her death. However, Andromeda has her memories. The Demon King wanted Elizabeth and Meliodas to suffer which is why Elizabeth has to die in front of Meliodas and for her to forget him, however since Andromeda had no connection to Meliodas her curse slightly flawed and she has her memories. However, once Elizabeth's curse is activated so is Andromeda's and they both die and get reincarnated until the curse is broken.

Sloth

For all of his talents, Voldemort was sadly lacking in many areas, and his astounding ingorance was one of them. Sloth, a state of carelessness is nowhere more evident than when Voldemort unknowingly misuses one of the Hallows! Thus Sloth is represented by Gaunt's ring.

Envy

As Helena Ravenclaw envied her mother when she stole the diadem, the opposite side of the Ravenclaw Diadem must be envy.

Greed

Since Merope Gaunt was underpaid for Slytherin's Locket, it can be somewhat associated with greed, though other vices are also possible. 

Wrath

Associated with an act of injury and violence, the boy who lived himself must be the result of Voldemort's Wrath. So yes, Wrath=Harry Potter.

Gluttony

Hufflepuff was the founder associated with making food. By extension, Helga's own cup must be the reverse side of gluttony.

Lust

Generalized to include a strong unnatural desire for a person or an object, it seems clear that Nagini fits the bill on more than one account.

Pride

The cardinal sin of them all. What is more appropriate to associate with it, than Voldemort's desire to replicate and preserve himself in the form of a diary. [Though in truth Voldemort could have been proud of his inheritance, and both Slytherin Locket as well as the Gaunt ring could have suited, if better options were lacking, the diary is the most personal element for Voldemort and thus suits the sin of pride the most].
