Project 1: Stacked Objects
Unlike some of my other works, there isn’t an intentional “deeper” meaning behind this one. Although, I believe all art is influenced by our subconscious desires and perspectives. Plus, this painting is all pictures of stuff I own, besides the table and wall, so it does absolutely convey a bit about me as a person and status as a pretentious artist. For example, you can see both the pencil and tablet I often use to draw digitally, despite the painting itself being a traditional piece, my attempts to learn Japanese with the textbooks present, and even my attempts to branch out and read more books written by women and POC with N.K. Jemisin’s “The Obelisk Gate” of the “Broken Earth” trilogy. Maybe this even shows a manifestation of capitalism within our society and stuff I might think are worth buying. Nevertheless this piece is merely one of my first attempts at seriously painting and learning watercolor. You can already tell that my style lends itself better to something like gouache or acrylic with how thick I laid down the paint.

1: A picture made using pastel, crayons and watercolor depicting an assortment of objects stacked on each other. (From bottom to top) a yellow Japanese workbook, an orange Japanese textbook, a blue Ipad, a blue and white box of unopened gloves turned on its side, and a white and blue apple pencil box. They stack sits on a brown table with a green wall covered in stains of some sort behind it.

My entry for Ohuhu's 10th Anniversary Contest
2026 vs 2019 ❤️
I've finished a carousel post displaying my April artworks, which have a “𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥”. My background in Multimedia Arts, which includes graphic design for marketing and advertising classes, combined with my current professional graphic design work, forms the basis of this post.
I'm considering rebranding my art account by enhancing my content and artwork, perhaps with more carousel posts, graphic designs, and novel art styles. Let us see about that! 😊
