Thirsty for a following, a rideshare driver has figured out a deadly plan to go viral.

I just watched this for the hell of it, but a few minutes in a recognised a few clips that were being used and realised that the marketing for this film is glorious. I found the kurtsworld TikTok account and followed it, thinking it was just Joe Keerey doing a bit, but no it’s actually marketing for this movie! Apart from the great marketing strategy, the film itself is pretty decent; you should give it a watch if you’re interested.

A shy, introverted student helps the school jock woo a girl whom, secretly, they both want.

This is just a really sweet movie and I really enjoyed it.

Stargirl

A teen develops a budding romance with Stargirl Caraway, a free-spirited new student who makes a big splash on her first day of school.

Okay, wow, I don’t like this movie... This is basically ‘babies first Lady Bird’ featuring an overated teen singer who stares into the camera whenever she sings (seriously, her looking straight down the lens made me uncomfortable every time). Also, realistically, Stargirl would have been bullied to hell and back just for having the name ‘Stargirl’.

The Hunt

Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are -- or how they got there. In the shadow of a dark internet conspiracy theory, ruthless elitists gather at a remote location to hunt humans for sport. But their master plan is about to be derailed when one of the hunted, Crystal, turns the tables on her pursuers.

I remember there being a fuss around this when it first came out and my only question is: why? Both extremes of the political spectrum are equally saterized and the film doesn’t take a stance with either of them. Honestly, it’s not even worth watching in the first place...
