13 for Marie ~
13. The first time Marie was on a boat, she had a terrible case of motion sickness and couldn’t even stand up on it. She’s quick to remind people that she was eight at the time.

2, 4 and 24 for Nora please, and 7 for Astrid~
2. Nora’s smile, when it happens, is warm and placid. In more formal situations, she tends to stifle smiling. Stiff upper lip and all.
4. Her height. Her heritage. Being incapable of representing Arland at its finest. Whatever position of power she’d have to take in the country she’s expected to marry into. Her newfound attraction to women…
A lot.
24. She’s motivated by what she believes is the greater good. And the greater good is the good of Arland, its citizens, and her family. And the good of the commoners and bondsmen is to be ruled over by her family, right? Because they are good rulers, devoted to the greater good.
In the back of her head, there is some seed of rebellion against the duty placed on her, that she tries her hardest to not think about.
Nora: 1, 13, 14, 22!
1. Nora has a relatively deep voice, a bit unfitting for a dainty princess.
13. Falling out of her carriage as she was shouting down bandits when she was twelve. And something else we don’t discuss.
14. Restrained shock and annoyance, followed by eating a bit more slowly or taking a drink to disguise the reaction.
22. Her neurosis and paranoia shoots through the roof, and she has a few tics she would repeat (smoothing her dress, fiddling with her hair, etc.)
2, 6, 18 for Mira! (i almost put mara who dat)
2: Mira’s smile is usually tight-lipped and formal, to hide the broken tooth. If she’s comfortable enough around someone, however, she’s willing to break out in a warm, wide, genuine grin.
6: Mira’s dealt with grief by throwing herself into something. First, throwing herself into sports when her mother died. Next, throwing herself into the management of a kingdom after her father died. She dances around grief, tries not to look it in its cold, black eyes.
18: Wrapped in as many blankets as she can manage, regardless of temperature. Sprawled out on whatever surface she is lying on. She runs her best on around seven hours of sleep.
Rank: Penmanship
1: Astrid has precise, elegant and legible penmanship.2: Basma has very well-put together penmanship, which is slightly too stylized to be perfectly legible.3: Nora’s penmanship is good to look at, but very sloppy to read.4: Marie, Mira and Agnes have barely legible chicken scratch.
Rank: sweet tooth
1: Agnes loves sweets. Honey, sugar, chocolate… any of them. She’d eat sweets at every meal if she could.2: Basma appreciates food of every variety, but especially sweets.3: Astrid doesn’t like sweets, but eats a large amount of fruit.4: Marie and Nora both prefer savory foods, but have been known to eat sweets now and then.5: Mira gets very, very occasional cravings.
Rank: No. Of loved ones lost
1: Along with her missing mother, Marie lost a few crew members on her first and last voyage as captain, to disease and storms more than actual combat. Several of them were family friends she had known when her mother was around, and she considers them all loved ones.
2: Mira has lost both parents. Her extended family is rather distant from her.
3: Astrid lost a younger sister to disease, but was too young to remember them. She hasn’t lived with her family for five years, but she keeps in touch.
4: Agnes didn’t exactly “lose” a “loved one”. For one, loss means it’s unintentional… However, she still keeps in contact with her siblings, some of whom have grown up and moved away from their family home.
5: Nora didn’t exactly lose anyone, but her mother began to become emotionally and physically absent when she was ten, and her brother is kept locked away for his health.
6: Basma is free of any personal tragedy. Besides the whole “treated as an accessory” thing.
Sleeping position!! Lys & Sophie sleep on their sides with one leg out (Sophie needs to be hugging something), Raisa on her back with her fingers entwined (think coffin), Grizzy in a fetal position, Sepphie on her front and Lumi's is random.
Time for a bit less of a touchy-feely response. From the Character Questions:
Your character has discovered that they only have a week left to live. What do they do with that time?
Since this is upsetting and possibly triggering, I’m putting it under a read more.
