that person from earlier actually ended up being pretty cool and civil, we talked and they apologized for speaking over lesbians nd realized why it was bad. We talked abt other issues too and thy had a few questions n all. today was a good day and it ended up being a rly nice conversation

headcanon - 

If/when Jude was to encounter the very same prophetic white light he sees in his dreams, (see 1968 event) the very light he believes to have taken his friend all those years ago, he would likely freeze in the presence of it -- like he wouldn’t know how to process any emotion other than awe, that all of his belief was not in fact unfounded or as crazy as everyone told him it was. He doesn’t underestimate ‘them’, though it’s likely he may be too preoccupied within the moment to entertain the possibility that he could be taken, too. And in some ways, perhaps he’d see it as a way of being reunited with Patrick -- in some ways, perhaps he’d welcome it. (Example of a situation where someone might need to pull him out of it in order to save his life.) Though I wouldn’t categorize him as reckless, per se, he may lose sight of his better judgment during such an encounter.
