I am anxious, and right now I feel powerless and strong. I did some reflecting on my childhood this morning, and it's really stuck with me all day. I want to be held and comforted, like a child, but I am not a child, and I can't really have that right now. Sometimes being an adult is really really hard when your childhood was shitty. My "inner child" is hurting.

I’ve been the most confident about myself in a long time since moving to Denver, but at the same time I’ve had such extremes of emotions, from feeling on top of the world euphoria, to feeling like I’m being dragged to the bottom of the ocean. I hate having such conflicting feelings rn.

I just miss having someone to hold as an option 24/7, especially since my two top love languages are physical touch and quality time. I tried to hookup with someone yesterday morning and I was not feeling it. I don’t like hookup culture for myself anyway, so idk why I even did it. It just made me feel worse. I miss Justin, and i hate myself for even saying that. This sucks. I know it’ll all be fine in the end, but fuck time in the meantime being alone while he has fun with other guys. I just need school to start and meet more people and continue to figure out life alone again like I did before college.

it’s 1:35 am and while i set out to write fanfic hours ago, after book club finished my two favorite people asked me to write an adventure one-shot with them as the characters, one with a sword and the other with magic. Which is strikingly hilarious because i have told no one that I’m trying to be a writer lmao.

so anyway I’ve written 1200 words of original fiction so far, and I’m not even tired yet! which is a crazy new for me! It’s really dumb writing and the main characters are literally OOC fantasy versions of my friends but it will make them laugh and practice is practice 👍 👍
