Log-in report #01
Since assuming the position of Captain of the 809th, I have also been assigned the responsibility of supervising Commander Padawan Maki. Initially, I found this obligation rather bothersome; after all, who would wish to oversee a child on their first day in such a role? Nevertheless, I refrained from voicing any objections, recognizing that it was her inaugural day as a commander, and I had to suppress my feelings of anger.
During the initial mission, the commanding officer misinterpreted her first directive, resulting in the loss of half of our personnel. She became emotional upon boarding the rescue LA-AT, and only Scrap, Kicker, Iek, and I survived. Scrap and Iek endeavored to soothe the commander as she curled into a ball against the ship's wall. I assisted her in preparing the incident report while she continued to recover from the trauma experienced.
However, nearly a month has passed since the mission, and she is now gradually making progress towards becoming better than ever. She has gained greater confidence and developed a Passion to perform her tasks correctly. I have never felt such pride before, for reasons I cannot entirely understand. Perhaps it is admiration, but how could I truly know? How could a clone, raised to fight for a cause throughout his life, contemplate such feelings?
