In which I get talked out of an impulse purchase.
Me: I kinda want these Turtles DVDs from the 80s.
Husband: No. No way. They're bad. Remember how I've been watching Thundercats? The Turtles are like that, but the voice acting is so much worse.
Me: I don't think it can be that bad.
Husband: The toys were the best thing about that show.
Me: I didn't have any of the toys, really. They technically belonged to my brother and my cousins.
Husband: Well then. I have no idea why the hell you watched that show.
Me: BECAUSE IT WAS AWESOME.
