Some time ago I was contacted by Geoff Harris who played in the Hong Kong league. My apologies to Geoff for taking so long to get around to this update.
As a young player Geoff was a forward at Oldham Athletic from 1972-75, and then at Halifax Town until 1977 where he made 10 starts and 5 substitute appearances, scoring 1 goal.

In 1977 he played in Perth, Australia for Floreat Athena, and then for the 1977-78 season he signed for Urban Services Department, scoring 8 goals.
He returned to the UK after that season, but was soon back in Hong Kong.
He played for Seiko during the 1978-79 and 1979-80 seasons, and due to the strength of the team was a prolific scorer, finding the net 50 times in 68 matches in all competitions.
Geoff returned to Britain, but played again in Hong Kong for Tsuen Wan during the 1982-83 season. He scored 5 goals for Tsuen Wan and can be seen in this video https://hongkongfootie.tumblr.com/post/124686552120/1982-83-tsuen-wan-v-south-china-an-end-of-season setting up the second Tsuen Wan goal. Dave Roberts and Doug Evans also play for Tsuen Wan in that match.
At USD Geoff played alongside Willy Coulson (Newcastle Utd) and Dave Allison (son of Malcolm).
At Seiko his teammates included Hugh McRory, Billy Semple, Peter Manners (Newcastle Utd) and Wu Kwok Hung.
Geoff has great memories of his time in Hong Kong, and was deeply saddened when he learned of the death of Wu Kwok Hung.
He would like to wish everyone associated with those times a fond hello.
