A Note on Watches
part 1 / part 2 / part 3
was watching Conclave with my friend and being a watch nerd, he notes:
Lawrence
Lawrence was wearing something like an Orient Bambino (possibly passed down). Watches like that are from the eighties.
Clearly, it's not embellished, and worn over time. A used Orient Bambino exudes decorum without being flashy. Pragmatic and cultured.

Bellini
Bellini's watch was quite simple as well.
Potentially an Omega De Ville or more likely a classic Seiko Dolce. Also an old model, implying that he's worn it for some time.
(Apparently, the Omega De Ville doesn't have the same angles) Regardless, people who opt for tank faces (square watches) tend to be ambitious. Simultaneously, they want to project humility.
'He's been doing all the right things to get what he wants,' says my friend. 'He's been curating his image.'

Benitez
Benitez's Casio f-91w is a functional watch.
'It exists just to do its job,' says my friend (Nate). 'No fanfare. It tells time and like [Benitez's] character, it's not trying to show up anybody. It just does its job.'
Considering this Casio costs 12 TIMES less than Bellini's Seiko Dolce, you might think this is a humble watch.
But it's not even that. It's an 'I exist' watch.
vintage seiko 21-7510 URUSHI
Seiko Ayase looking at you
Visit my P page for some tasty H video of her.
Support my work so I can keep doing this and afford basic human necessities. Thank you, generous legend.
Seiko with a ghost MS/O that died earlier (through accident or other means) in life but refuses to leave seiko no matter how much hes exercised and hes just lingers like a stand from jojo or like Rika
Seiko with a ghost s/o
You were seiko's husband, well technically still are but it's hard to explain to anyone who isn't involved with the occult that she's married to a ghost so officially she's a widow but in reality she has a ghost husband
You died fighting a yokai which was trying to attack seiko, you defended her but lost your life in the process, seiko was so distraught by your loss she didn't even try any way to communicate with your spirit or see you for one last time, she felt like that would depress her even more, so for a while she tried to cope with the fact that you were gone
Only for her to literally almost have an heart attack when you showed up next to her and started talking to her like it was normal
At first she thought you were some evil yokai trying to trick her and immediately tried to exorcise you only for it not to work, she tried again and again but this was the first time she had seen a spirit be so resilient and resist so many attempts to exorcise it
"Why don't you just disappear and leave me alone!? Y/n is gone so stop copying him just to trick me!"
"No, seiko, it is actually me. i'm still here because....i love you and I want to stay with you forever"
And so she eventually actually understood that the ghost was you and that you were back from the dead, in a way, to be with her, it definitely stunned her at first and it took a while to get used to but it was comforting in a way knowing that she still had you
Your life together actually mostly didn't change that much, because of seiko's great affinity for ghosts and spirits she has no problem communicating with you and even touching you most of the time, so you can do most of the things you did before your death and your private life is pretty much unchanged
It's in public that she has to be careful, most of the time you go with her wherever she has to go and so sometimes she starts talking to you and everyone looks at her weird because to them she's just talking to no one, or she'll say "hold up let me talk to my husband" and turn to you and then you have to remind her that you're supposed to be dead
If seiko's reaction was extreme then you haven't seen momo's yet. When she started gaining more of a grasp on her powers she realized she could see you, a ghost of her dead grandfather...she almost fainted at the realization and went to ask seiko to exorcise you, so you had to explain the situation
"W-wait so you're telling me that grandpa isn't actually dead?"
"No, I did die, I just came back as a spirit"
"Oh so that's why I can see you only now cause of my powers"
"Yeah"
".....well i'm happy about that, i'm glad i can see you again grandpa"
"Me too momo, I remember how distraught you were when you heard i died"
"Yep, she cried like a little girl and locked herself in her room for 2 weeks....although i'm pretty sure by the second week it was just an excuse to not go to school"
"G-grandma! Don't say that!"
"Eheh don't worry momo, it's fine, i'm just happy we can be a family again"
"...yeah the same goes for me, I guess having a ghost husband is fitting for a psychic"
"True"
