Asya: Say goodbye to Miss Sophie, Sierra.
Sierra: Bye, Miss Sophie..next time you come over you can meet my friend Everly.
Miss Sophie: I will be sure to, young lady. I’m glad to see you making friends at your school. You are growing up to be the cutest little girl in all of Blythe Harbor.
Asya: What do you say, Sierra?
Sierra: Thank you.
Later that afternoon, Everly Clinton gets dropped off by Leland & Brooke..and the girls go running towards the barn, trying to beat Sergio to the door.
They play voidcritters most of the evening.
Looks like Sierra is a bit of a sore loser. And Everly is thinking that it’s about time she won something over Sierra.
Miss Sophie: And where are you coming from, darlin?
Aysa: Hi, Miss Sophie...
Dennis: You know she’s got a friend over yonder, cross the street...
Miss Sophie: Mmhmm...*smirks*
Asya: Daddy..
Dennis: Well..! That fella over there, ain’t ever gonna treat you like this one over here can.
Asya: Daddy, all due respect...Miss Sophie, I’ve known you all my life....I’m a grown woman now. Please let me handle my own business. Thank you.
And with that, Asya walks off...into the house.
While showering, she hears their words play over again in her head, and the anger boils deep. If she could take her daughter and go start somewhere fresh, she would do it in a heartbeat.
Asya says a silent prayer that all goes well, as she enters the house.
Lamont: I was wondering how long it was gonna take you.
Asya: *giggles* Shoot I rushed over here, didn’t I. I didn’t even do my nails, bae.
Asya embraces Lamont and holds it for some time, before she notices that his sister is in the room, as well.
Asya: Heyy Aria! How you doing this morning?
Aria: Could be better. I’m just waking up...what brings you over so early?
Asya: I really needed to lay eyes on your brother right away..ain’t that silly.
She looks directly at Lamont.
...But, it couldn’t wait another minute.
Asya continues: I can only imagine what you might’ve felt yesterday at the Health club...I hardly responded to you. It was as if I didn’t know you. I got all in my head, and didn’t wanna make a bad impression on any of the guys.
Lamont: It’s cool...I knew you was frontin’.
Asya: I couldn’t rest well last night, cause I didn’t want you to take it the wrong way.
Lamont: I’ll forgive you this time. Just don’t let it happen again.
Asya gives him a raised eyebrow.
Asya: Well, I let Sergio know that he and I are just friends. And I’m reminding you, I’m not married. I’m just a dedicated parent and daughter, that’s all.
Aria: Girl, you could’a just called, for all of that.
