Regarding the current situation with the FANG show at 924 Gilman, Silent Era as a band and as individuals would like to echo the already articulate statements made by Composite and others about boycotting the club. As a band, we condemn oppressive behavior of any kind, and we too feel that Gilman's members are disregarding many voices in the DIY punk community and their own posted morals. There are some people attending Gilman meetings to affect change in these matters, and we acknowledge and support their efforts.
