It’s really obnoxious to see how people are making excuses in their arguments against Floor’s recent Facebook post. A lot of the comments I see are “People are gonna do it anyways”. So that automatically means that they should be allowed to put their hands all over her even if it makes her uncomfortable? “Well, it’s part of the job.” Let’s examine what her job is: Her job is to sing and perform on stage. That’s it. You paid to see her perform. She performed for you, you got what you paid for, your transaction is now complete. Just because she’s made herself into a public figure doesn’t mean she’s not entitled to her space. She’s a human being who has a right to her comfort zone and has the right to reject anything that makes her uncomfortable or uneasy. This doesn’t mean she has anything against fans, it just means she has boundaries and you all need to respect that if you respect her. You are not entitled to her. She is not yours. She is hers.
