Not that it would make her treatment acceptable if she was, but it’s important to remember that Caster Semenya is not trans. She’s not trans, she’s not intersex so far as anyone’s aware, she’s not anything but a cis woman with a higher than average testosterone level.
This is what happens when you start thinking you can decide who gets to be considered a woman--sooner or later your definition gets so precise and exacting that there’s no one left.
