The first track on IV80P upcoming LP; started out as an exercise in generative music. The lead melody was written using the Euclidean Rhythm Generator. I had a midi rack set up in Ableton (Random, Arp and Scale) to take the signal from the Java based program and produce a random melody with in certain constraints: scale and rhythm.  This is a great tool to use just to produce stems for future projects. It has helped me to have a bank to pull from when writing especially when there is a block in the creative juices. Sometimes all it takes is finding the right 8 bar loop to jump start the process.  Part of what inspired this track was listening to too much Tycho.

I finally feel free. I feel like the real Te. I feel so much happiness inside of me. Showing me where to go and teaching how I should be. One day I will find that person who flows like the sea.
