The Moody Blues join The Beatles for dinner and a game of pool at their hotel in Sheffield on the 8th December 1965. The Beatles were in town for a concert at the Gaumont Cinema, Sheffield, earlier that day. This was their last UK tour.

Naked John alert... 

[P]hotographer Annie Leibovitz recalls how John Lennon wanted Yoko Ono on the cover with him for a December 1980 issue. At the last minute Ono didn’t want to take her clothes off. 

“So when they lay down together and John was nude, curled up against her clothed, he looked much more vulnerable,” Leibovitz says. “That was the last picture of him. Several hours later, John was murdered. Dec. 8, 1980.”

Felt more ill today whoops but endured school anyways (: went to fairseat and they gave me chocolate!! So cute hehe and then I had lessons which were decent. Ran home and got everything ready before running over to Matilda's to baby sit her for a couple hours while her mum worked. Tried to hide my cough a lot lol but she made me run around the house with her :// whoops. Then headed home before mum gave me a lift to Finsbury to meet the others at Hyde park for winter wonderland :/ it was so cold and ice skating was horrible lol. Me and Sarah were just waiting for it to end hehe. But we got overpriced crepes which were good (: then I had to wait for them to get off rides which took years and I wanted to run home and sleep. It was a grim night and I ended up getting home really late which was gross but just crawled into bed and slept.
