happy new year!! here’s my bullet journal spread for books read. i didn’t complete the 8K pages challenge, but I read more books in 2020 than maybe ever!

The 8,000 pages challenge

Hey y’all! I know I’ve been a bit inactive recently (school has been really kicking my ass) but since the 20′s are about to start i decided to send out a challenge for anyone who wants to read more this year. 

I’ve seen many people express their reading goals in number of books, but that didn’t really work for me since i tend to take on really big books, then distract myself with really short books so the number of books i read wouldn’t be a good indicator of my reading habits. As such, i thought that measuring my reading in number of pages would be much more efficient, so this is what i will be doing!

I’ll be posting each book i read and the corresponding number of pages on here, and hopefully i’ll meet my goal by the end of next year.

For anyone who wants to join the challenge, i will be tracking the hashtag #8kpages. We can do this, folks!

I usually read about five books in a year, so at least quarantine has had one effect lol (plus all the humanities and english courses I’ve been taking)

There’s only a month left until the 8K pages challenge ends and I’m still 2K away oof! But hey, at least I read a lot more than usual! :)

happy friday the thirteenth!

my school is closed. not necessarily for the covid-19 virus yet, they’re closed to have a staff day to set up online school for when we do close for the virus. i’m really nervous :/
