Day 1: Gold
This theme was, of course, inspired by the tradition of Hannukah Gelt! It also ties into Scully’s necklace and the significance it holds in the relationship between Mulder and Scully.
Day 2: Heritage
Heritage plays a significant role not only in the traditions of the Jewish people but also in the ever-evolving secrets of the previous generation of Mulders.
Day 3: Celebration
Hanukkah is, after all, a celebration! And Fox Mulder is not a man to turn down the opportunity for an impromptu dance in a music hall with Cher or a night out playing baseball with his favorite scientist.
Day 4: Endurance
The Jewish people are known for their overwhelming endurance and strength; and Mulder definitely embodies these characteristics in his professional and personal life.
Day 5: Miracles
Miracles beyond the scope of human understanding are a hallmark to Jewish culture as well as the hopeful believer Fox Mulder himself.
Day 6: Dreidel
Dreidel is a fun Hanukkah tradition and game! Mulder, after all, enjoys a bit of fun and he certainly has been known to partake in his fair share of games.
Day 7: Potatoes
This was inspired by Hanukkah Latkas, of course! But also to honor Mulder’s mysterious and enduring preference for potatoes—buried under a full moon or baked into a pie.
Day 8: Lights
Hanukkah is a celebration of light, and what is more quintessential to Fox Mulder than his ability to shine it into the darkest places?
