Afro Comic Con 2017. I had a heartwarming and amazing time at Afro Comic Con this past weekend. Shout out to the organizers. They did a great job especially for this being the first year. It was awesome to have a con so close to home. I truly appreciated the care that they took in making sure the artists, panelists and special guests were taken care of. From the help finding my table and getting me a chair to loading my things in the event volunteers and workers made the community very welcoming. Because it was so close to home it was fun hanging with other artists friends and cool knowing that I can follow folks on Instagram and meet up with them again. I really like the free kids day on day 2. Loved seeing all the kids and young adults enjoying themselves at the workshops and being able to talk one on one with artists. I had lots of laughs and wonderful conversations with so many people it going to keep me smiling for a long time. Hope to meet up soon with artists to do some good work. Thanks again Afro Comic con. You rocked it! More photos on my flicker page. https://www.flickr.com/photos/storm1sky/albums/72157688271992954
