Veterans Day. These are my Veterans. My dad and his B-24 bomber crew, this was shot just before they left for combat in Europe. I had the privilege to get to know 7 of these men, they were more my uncles than dads friends they were and are family just as they were a family in the skies over Germany. They worked as a team and became very close so they each could make it home.
