American Horror Story Apocalypse Ending *spoilers*
Okay, lemme say this first: I have mad respect for Ryan Murphy and everyone who worked on this season, and can understand why they chose to end the season the way they did but... I NEVER BEEN SO SAD IN MY LIFE.
Like, there was so much character development and complexity with Michael. I honestly thought they would let him live. Sure he’s the spawn of Satan, but he’s still human--Cordelia even admitted it. The ending really hit home to me, because Michael was raised by a bunch of people who manipulated and abandoned him, and all he wanted was to be loved and accepted! Much like myself. lol But instead of showing him forgiveness and love, they decided to kill him when he was at his most vulnerable, not showing him a shred of humanity. He was scared and didn’t understand his powers and impulses. I really wished Mallory saw the true him--a deeply wounded child and saved him. Even after she ran him over multiple times. Or AT LEAST Constance bringing him to the house where his spirit can live on. It broke my heart when she said all of those nasty things to him. He was just a child... Anyways, the witches could of raised him and gave him the love and acceptance he needed and shown him a different, better path. They could of found someway and somehow to purge Satan out of him. Evil is just a product of unchecked pain that has been left to fester and rot... Light always conquers darkness. Love always wins.
